About the Artist

A traditional, formally trained artist and painter who works primarily in oils and acrylics, Pete Schassler studied painting at MIlwaukee Institute of Art and Design. While subjects vary, his primary focus is on the human condition in relation to the world in which we live. He believes there is beauty and heroicness in the everyday struggles we face. His fluid style allows him to capture people as they are, in a way that speaks to their essence as individuals.
